XyLoc was built to be a flexible tool, adaptable for any environment where security is needed. The XyLoc reader is integrated into the keyboard for dual factor biometric logon as well as secure logoff when the user leaves the workstation. If you move outside of the programmable active zone, XyLoc will immediately lock the computer. Any open applications will be secured while you are away and restored when you return and biometrically logon. XyLoc is particularly well suited to environments that include users who have different access privileges to shared workstations, and where users access multiple workstations while they roam the facility. XyLoc consists of a radio transceiver “Lock” that is embedded into the biometric keyboard and a discrete wireless radio transmitter “Key” (badge) worn by the user. With XyLoc installed, when you approach your computer, the XyLoc Key automatically transmits a unique, 32-bit encrypted ID code to trigger the biometric logon. |
